Here you can take trips to see the whales and dolphins or you can charter your own boat and cruise at your leisure. For the more adventurous, try a hike up Mount Teide or take the cable car up to the summit. This old volcano, which has been dormant for many hundreds of years, is a huge attraction for all visitors to the island and on a clear day you can see right across the island. Other activities in the area include cycling, diving, fishing golf, sailing, surfing, swimming, walking, water skiing and wind-surfing. The airport Reina Sofa - Tenerife South is just 7 miles away and costs just 20 euros by taxi. A car is not necessary.
