Three Bed cottage
St Anns is a charming detached cottage, located in the beautiful St Marychurch/Babbacombe area of Torquay,
which has been recently, tastefully refurbished. It is set in a walled, landscaped garden and sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms, (one double, one twin and one room with bunk beds).
The house also boasts a private drive (parking available for 2 cars) and an enclosed garden with patio table and chairs. Inside, the cottage consists of a separate lounge and dining room.
The lounge now enjoys digital satellite TV and there is also a DVD player, so bring all your favourite DVDs. This can be used as a CD player as well. The kitchen features a gas oven,
fridge, separate freezer, iron and ironing board, kettle, toaster, cafetiere etc. Upstairs, in addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is a bathroom with bath and electric shower, sink with
mirror above, laundry basket etc, and a separate WC.

The nearest beach, Oddicombe, is just a 5 minute walk. It has been the winner of the Blue Flag award for 14 consecutive years and is also a designated Euro Beach. There is also a cliff railway,
which will take you from the top of the cliff at Babbacombe Downs all the way down to the beach, which is otherwise quite a steep descent. From the top of the cliff the sea views are spectacular and
Babbacombe Downs itself is very pretty with its lawns and flood lit paths along the cliff edge. There are a number of hotels, pubs and tea houses here all of which share the magnificent views. Not
forgetting the award winning fish and chip shop and restaurant. The neighbouring Babbacombe Beach is just a 15 minute walk away.
The cottage is an convenient base for visiting the surrounding attractions. The nearest of these is Babbacombe Model Village, just a 5 minute walk. Children especially will love this as you can walk
around a tiny village in miniature. Bygones is also within walking distance, where you can stroll around in cobbled strees passing shop fronts out of the Victorian era and marvel at all the goods and
wares that would have been for sale 100 years ago. As the cottage is also close to Dartmoor, it is also an ideal base for a walking holiday. When not on the beach or out visiting the sites, you
can also visit St Marychurch's delightful and charming collection of shops. There is an exclusive brasserie within a 2 minute walk of the cottage, as well as a pub. Other shops nearby include a
Co-op, cash point, Happy Apple grocery store which is very well stocked and sells just about every spice and herb you can imagine, chemist, fishmonger, butcher, bakery, cafes, small number of clothes
and shoe shops etc. etc. There are also several restaurants including the French restaurant, Edward's Brasserie in Wellswood, which is within a short drive away. The food is excellent and well
recommended, but not cheap. You can check out the menu on their website: http://www.edwardsbrasserie.co.uk/.
The main shopping area of Torquay is just 1.5 miles away.
