Reviews Palm Mar Apartments

We travelled as  couple and we are in our 60s. We were looking for a holiday with peace and quiet, so Palm Mar definitely fits the bill. If you are coming to Tenerife for the nightlife, you won’t want to stay here. We stayed for 2 weeks in a one bedroom apartment on San Remo, which we booked through Karen from Holidays 4U. She recommended this complex as it is very modern (she told us it is only 6 years old!). We were not disappointed. The apartment was lovely and just as we were expecting from the photos on the website. It was quite spacious also and very clean. There was a double balcony off the lounge and bedroom which enjoyed panoramic views.  A patio table and chairs was provided for alfresco dining, but there was also a lovely sofa with mosquito net. It was lovely to sit and relax on the balcony in the evening with a gin and tonic, to watch the ocean and the setting sun. The TV complex on the complex was very good. There were plenty of English channels. There was also good wifi internet access. We hired a car which I would recommend if staying in Palm Mar. I was a bit surprised how hard it was to park though, for a supposedly quiet resort. It was very convenient for walking to the beach, as it only took 5 minutes. We did that most days. The pool area was very nice also, and the pool very clean. It was not crowded at all around the pool, so it was easy to get sun loungers.

Reviews El Camison Townhouses

Location location location! The 3 most important factors in a holiday.  We booked a three bedroom townhouse through Karen Durant from Holidays 4U. It is just on the border of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas and is there in the perfect position. It is also close to the sea front and Las Vistas beach. You can therefore walk along the sea front promenade in either direction to the centre of Los Cristianos or to the posh part of Playa de las Americas, where all the top restaurants, bars and shops can be found. There is also a fantastic supermarket very close by, called the Mercadona. The fresh fish here is particularly good. The complex itself has a pool which is shared. The terrace faced towards the inside of the complex and was well equipped with patio table and chairs as well as reclining chairs. There was even a washing machine under a covered part of the terrace.  The stone barbeque was also fantastic. It was our favourite thing to buy some fresh prawns with shell on, from the Mercadona and to cook them on the barbeque for our evening meal.  The fish is so fresh that it is even labelled with the time when it was caught! The townhouse was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We loved the decor, being slightly rustic and seemly more in keeping with a local style, rather than just being a copy of every modern apartment these days.  It was a bit more individual, which was nice. In our opinion this townhouse would be ideal for a large family, as it actually has beds for 8 people. The bedroom on the top floor is very large with a double and 2 single beds in it.

Villa Reviews Callao Salvaje

We have just spent a brilliant 2 weeks in Callao Salvaje Tenerife. We booked a three bedroom villa through Karen from Holidays 4U.  We were met on arrival by a very nice local lady who spoke very good English and showed us around the villa. A generous welcome pack had been provided which even included a bottle of prosecco. We really appreciated that. The weather was very hot, so we were relieved to find out that the villa had air conditioning throughout. We travelled as  family of 6 (2 parents and 4 children), so the villa was a perfect size for us. Our children adored playing and swimming in the pool.  There is a Lidl in Callao Salvaje now, which wasn’t there on our last visit. So we did a lot of shopping there and cooked our own meals most days. But we did go out and sample some of the fine restaurants on a couple of occasions. With a large family, it can be costly to do this every night. We hired a car, which was handy and the parking was very easy outside the villa, as it is situated in  residential area. We drove to Siam Park for a day out once during the holiday, which the children really enjoyed. They tell me this was the highlight of the holiday. We felt the villa was very spacious, and very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was very well equipped with the usual appliances that you would expect in a villa, such as a diswasher, washing machine, oven, tall fridge/freezer etc. There was even a water filter for drinking water.

Reviews Los Cristianos Apartments

This was our second holiday in Los Cristianos. We prefer it to Las Americas as it is more of a family friendly resort. We prefer to stay away from the Veronicas Strip if at all possible. We travelled as a family of 5 people. The apartment suited us perfectly as there was a double bed in the master bedroom for my husband and I, and the 2nd bedroom had 2 single beds which our twin boys had and our older daughter had the single room. We booked the apartment through Karen from Holidays4u.org. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely return to this apartment and this resort again. The apartment was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the towels were arranged in the shape of swans.  Our children were very impressed by that. The complex itself is very close to the sea front, over the road from the Arona Gran.  So everything we could need was close by, including restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We certainly didn’t need a car. That was what we wanted on this holiday: to be able to relax without having to drive anywhere.  Not that I do any of the driving anyway. I find the roads in Tenerife, especially the motorway, to be a bit of  a challenge, so I leave the driving up to my husband. It was a quiet complex, which suited us. There were only a few people around the pool when we were there. The balcony enjoyed a view over the pool.  It was nice to sit out in the evening with a gin and tonic.
