I have just returned from a 7 day stay on Club Atlantis. I travelled with my boyfriend and we stayed in a studio on the 5th floor. It was great as it had wonderful views. We booked through Karen Durant from Holidays 4U. She specialises in offering the privately owned apartments on the complex, which I understand are better quality than the hotel managed ones. The studio was surprisingly spacious and airy – much more so than we were expecting. I had forgotten to ask if there was an iron and ironing board and also a hair dryer in the apartment before departing from home, but I was pleasantly surprised and relieved to find these items provided. There was also a washing machine, which was a real bonus, when my boyfriend spilt beer all over his t-shirt.  It would have made all our other clothes smell in the suitcase on the way home! The complex is great as well. It is very well located, just on the sea front and close to many restaurants and bars. There is a walkway along the sea front as well and the beach was very close. We found it to be a quiet complex, good for couples wanting to relax and chill out, which was us. But families should be aware that there are a lot of rules relating to children using the pools, such as “no ball games or inflatables in the pool” and “no noise”. The complex overlooks the Puerto Colon marina, which is worthwhile to visit. There are lots of boat trips on offer here. We chose a whale and dolphin watching trip which included lunch and a swim off the back of the boat. It was great fun.
