This large villa to rent in Callao Salvaje Tenerife can sleep up to 16 people. There are 6 bedrooms in the main villa and a 7th bedroom in a separate annexe which is situated on the lower terrace. Several of the bedroms have king-size double beds, which can be converted to twin beds if required.

The villa enjoys sea and mountain views and also has free wifi internet access and satellite TV including English channels.

Outside the villa has a private heated pool, a gazebo with patio furniture for alfresco dining. There are also plenty of sun loungers.

Restaurante El Ancla

This restaurant has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence on TripAdvisor where it has some great reviews. As a result it can get very busy so it is advisable to book a table.

The restaurant is situated on the sea front in Callao Salvaje in a row of restaurants. Don’t be tempted by any of the other restaurants. It is well worth the extra walk to get to this one.

The restaurant enjoys great sea views, as you will see from the photo above. It is a little on the expensive side, but you pay for what you get, as they say. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

The menu consists of international dishes. The starters include garlic prawns and mussels. For main courses you could try the fillet steaks which are amazing or chicken breast with mushroom sauce, grilled steak with port and pepper sauce, lemon sole with Canarian or saute potatoes or rice with a garlic dip or mojo sauce. For dessert you could try the carrot cake, crepes and ice cream or the lemon sorbet with a shot of Russian vodka poured over the top.
