We have stayed on several of the Parque Santiago complexes over the years. This time we were staying in Parque Santiago 2. It is in a good location within the Playa de las Americas resort. It is right on the sea front and there is  a promenade which stretches along in both directions. We love to stroll along this walkway in the evening on the way out for a meal. There are plenty of lovely restaurants and nice bars in the area. That’s why we always book a self catering apartment.  We booked the apartment this time through Karen Durant from Holidays 4U. We were met on arrival by a very nice lady. She made sure we had her number just in case we needed anything during our stay. This was just as well, as my daughter cut her foot on coming off the beach one afternoon. She was wearing flip flops as well, but a shard of glass went straight through. We called our local contact and she advised us where the nearest hospital was. It was very good service – thank you. After the drama, we settled down to enjoy the rest of our holiday. The apartment we booked had wifi internet and a washing machine, as well as satellite TV with plenty of English channels. It was also south facing so the balcony got a lot of sun and we also had sea and pool views.  We thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our holiday. Would definitely book with Karen again and if possible the same apartment.
