Parque Santiago 3 Reviews

We stayed in a studio on Parque Santiago 3 for one week earlier this month.  The studio was on the 3rd floor and had lovely views.  It was great as it was for our honeymoon.  The only negative comment I would have is that there was no lift.  It wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be for someone less mobile. That’s one of the advantages of booking a privately owned apartment as this was. As you can ask questions about the location and the accessibility. Whereas if you book through the hotel you will be allocated an apartment on arrival. I have a friend in a wheelchair who obviously needed an apartment on the ground floor and she was allocated an inappropriate apartment. Luckily they were able to move her to a more suitable one, but it just goes to show. We booked our privately owned studio through Karen from Holidays4u.org, who I would definitely recommend and we will definitely use her again. Another thing to be aware of on this complex is that the pool is salt water. Again not a problem for us, but it isn’t everyone’s favourite.  It think it is healthier though. The studio we had seemed very spacious.  There was a great deal of sun on the balcony, which was great for sun bathing, but it did make the apartment hotter during the evening. Everything is close by.  It is a very easy walk to the beach. There are also plenty of lovely restaurants and bar around the complex. There is even a gym now, which we used quite a lot.

Parque Santiago III Reviews

Have just returned from a 2 week holiday on this lovely complex, Parque Santiago 3.  We stayed in an apartment this time which had lovely views of the sea and pool.  We booked through Karen Durant from Holidays 4U, who was very efficient in dealing with our booking.  She was even on hand when we arrived at the apartment and the key wasn’t in the key box. She quickly arranged for someone to come out to us with the key.  We booked a one bedroom apartment.  It was for myself, my husband and our 7 year old daughter.  She absolutely loved the water slides.  It really is the best complex in Tenerife because of this feature. We would definitely book one of the privately owned apartments again, which is what Holidays 4U offer.  As when you book through a travel agent or through the hotel, you don’t get to choose your location. We have done that in the past and ended up in a room overlooking the road, which wasn’t much fun. The weather was great during our stay, but very hot in the apartment as there is no air conditioning on Parque Santiago 3 on the whole, or there are a few private owners who have had it installed.  The facilities on the complex more than make up for that though. The restaurants in the surrounding area are very nice and there are some good bars as well. It really is a very upmarket area. The shopping is also to die for.  My favourite is Zara, I could have easily spent several afternoons in there. But that would have been unfair on my family!

Reviews Parque Santiago 3 Tenerife

We loved our recent holiday on Parque Santiago 3 in Las Americas, Tenerife. We booked a ground floor studio through Karen from Holidays4u.org. We needed one on the ground floor as my husband is not very mobile anymore. The studio we got through Karen was in a great location, as it was on the Lanzarote block. Although it had a ground floor entrance, it was actually one level up from the pool, when we were sitting out on the balcony. This meant that we didn’t have the problem of being overlooked that you often get with other ground floor apartment and it also meant the view was improved. The studio was very stylish.  All in all we were very pleased indeed. The complex itself is really nice. The pool is massive (one of the biggest I have come across in Tenerife). There is a section with water slides for children, though of course we didn’t use that as we were travelling as a couple. There is also a gym, which I did use every day (not my husband though).  There were also plenty of sun loungers around the pool.  It was certainly a great place to relax and chill out. There is a lovely shopping arcade under the complex with lovely clothes shops, bars and cafes, as well as shops selling electrical items, such as cameras etc. We used the pool bar quite a bit, which was handy for buying drinks and snacks to enjoy around the pool.  But there are also lots of lovely bars and restaurants in the immediate area around the complex.  A little bridge across the pool leads out to the sea front promenade. It stretches in either direction towards Costa Adeje oneway and the other towards Los Cristianos.

Reviews Parque Santiago 3 Tenerife

Parque Santiago 3 is situated in a perfect location in the Playa de las Americas resort.  It is right on the sea front and close to lots of shops and restaurant. Las Vistas beach is only a few minutes walk in the direction of Los Cristianos. We booked a privately owned apartment through Karen Durant from Holidays4u.org. We were very pleased with the accommodation, which was clean on arrival and well equipped with modern decor.  There was a double balcony off the lounge and bedroom which faces towards Costa Adeje and therefore gets the sun in the afternoon and early evening. The only thing was that did mean that it was very hot in the apartment while getting ready to go out in the evening. But there were ceiling fans in the apartment which helped a bit. The owner needs to get them oiled, as they were a bit squeaky. That’s not really a complaint as it didn’t bother us. The sofa bed was of the original style on the complex, which was fine for us being a couple, so we didn’t need to use it as a bed.  But I don’t think they are really big enough for 2 adults, especially when it is really hot. Perhaps one adult or 2 children would be OK on it. The beds were very comfortable though.  The complex itself is well maintained. The pool is huge and there is a section with water slides for children (which we didn’t use as we were travelling without children). It is a salt water pool though, which was fine – after all that’s what you get in the sea. We have already booked our next holiday with Karen, as we enjoyed it so much.

Where to Eat

Teppanyaki Oriental Garden

An oriental restaurant serving delicious, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Indian cuisine.

Teppanyaki Oriental Garden is a highly recommended restaurant, which is just across the road from the Parque Santiago III.  It offers a wide range of Oriental dishes including Thia, Indian, Chinese and Japanese.  There is also a cooking show every night, where a chef cooks a select menu on a hot plate in a flamboyant manner in front of guests. An experience not to be missed!
