It is a more sophisticated and quieter resort than others on Lanzarote such as Puerto del Carmen or Costa Teguise. It consists of the upmarket and large yacht marina, Marina Rubicon as well as a large choice of cafes and restaurants. The beaches are sheltered and ideal for sunbathing and swimming. There is a seafront promenade which stretches from one end of the resort the other and makes for a very pleasant stroll.
